苏萌生于山东青岛，5岁习琴，12岁进入中央音乐学院附中师从陈志教授，年少时即展现出过人天赋：14岁获得“维也纳国际青年吉他比赛”冠军；17岁获得“第48届东京国际吉他大赛”冠军；18岁获得“美国帕肯宁国际青年吉他比赛”冠军；同年征战“德国伊色隆国际吉他大赛”再次夺冠。至此，苏萌在18岁时成为了获得欧、亚、美三大洲顶尖吉他赛事“大满贯”的第一位中国人。2015年，在群雄争霸的“美国帕肯宁国际吉他公开赛”中，苏萌披荆斩棘，以绝对优势摘得桂冠，成为了世界上唯一一位同时获得“美国帕肯宁国际吉他比赛”青年组和成年组冠军的演奏者。

2006年，苏萌远赴美国，进入约翰·霍普金斯大学皮博迪音乐学院，投身世界吉他大师曼努埃尔·巴鲁艾克（Manuel Barrueco）门下，随即开始了她在欧美乐坛的职业演出生涯。2010年，苏萌和搭档王雅梦组成的“北京吉他二重奏”在纽约卡内基音乐厅成功首演。至今，苏萌的独奏、重奏、室内乐音乐会足迹遍布全球30多个国家和地区,演出场所包括旧金山赫斯特剧院、阿姆斯特丹皇家音乐厅、纽约考夫曼音乐厅、迈阿密新世界中心、莫斯科柴可夫斯基大厅、西班牙加泰罗尼亚音乐宫、匈牙利李斯特音乐学院大厅等。她曾与美国巴尔的摩交响乐团、澳大利亚阿德莱德交响乐团、中国爱乐乐团、广州交响乐团等国内外知名乐团合作演出吉他协奏曲，也是历史悠久的美国圣塔菲室内乐音乐节的常驻音乐家。

苏萌的演奏和录音被媒体评价为“超越年龄的能力和艺术性”。她的首张二重奏专辑《马拉卡伊比》中的同名曲荣获拉丁格莱美奖提名；第二张专辑《巴赫到谭盾》被作曲家谭盾称赞为“必听之作”；第三张专辑《中·西》，收录了和导师巴鲁艾克的中国风三重奏作品，好评如潮。2016年，苏萌在美国发行了第四张专辑《萌》，获得业界赞誉：《巴尔的摩太阳报》称赞她为“前途无量的艺术家”，而美国权威的唱片杂志《美国唱片指南》更是感叹道：“向天才致敬！”2023年秋，她的第五张专辑，二重奏《月光》在美国发行。

作为艺术家，苏萌勇于探索，不断融合，跨界多门类艺术。2021年，苏萌参与舞蹈音乐剧场《谭元元和她的朋友们——美术馆奇幻夜》的全国巡演，与旧金山芭蕾舞团首席演员谭元元合作演绎了经典作品《卡门》。2023年夏，苏萌凝聚各国艺术家，在著名导演周可的带领下，打造了全球首部古典吉他影音剧场《西班牙幻想曲》。本剧融合音乐，舞蹈，舞美，视觉，灯光设计等，其精彩的沉浸式体验，华丽的舞台效果，突破常规，引领着古典吉他演出艺术的新生态。

2014年苏萌荣获美国马里兰州政府颁发的“年度独立艺术家”奖；2016年获得美国约翰霍普金斯大学的“杰出校友奖”。2022年获得美国贝克艺术家奖。她曾多次在美国旧金山音乐学院、克利夫兰音乐学院、西北大学、克罗地亚萨格勒布音乐学院、丹麦皇家音乐学院、英国格拉斯哥皇家音乐学院等世界著名艺术院校授课讲学，她同时在美国吉他基金会国际公开赛、美国帕肯宁国际吉他比赛、美国巴尔的摩国际吉他比赛等国际吉他赛事中担任评委。

2021年秋季起，苏萌开始担任旧金山音乐学院吉他专业的教师，这也是旧金山音乐学院史上第一位女性吉他教师，也是旧金山音乐学院第一位亚裔吉他教师。

Ms. Su has performed recitals in over 30 different countries around the world, and in halls such as the Concertgebouw, Palau de Musica, Tchaikovsky Hall and the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing. As a soloist, she regularly performs with orchestras around the world, such as the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Milhouse Symphony Orchestra, Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra and so on. In 2018, She gave the China Premiere of Tan Dun’s guitar concerto Yi2 in Beijing Forbidden City Hall with China Philharmonic Orchestra.

Meng Su is also an avid chamber musician. Besides touring in the Beijing Guitar Duo around the globe, she collaborates regularly with other instrumentalists and dancers. In 2022, Ms. Su performed with ballerina YuanYuan Tan in her dance show and toured China to critical acclaim. This journey eventually led her to create her own show – Spanish Fantasia in 2023. It is world’s first-ever multimedia guitar music theatre show that not only featuring the guitar performances, but drama, dance, stage design, lighting design and projection.

Meng Su’s performances and recordings have impressed the public with “an ability and artistry that exceeds her years.” (Baltimore Sun) Her debut duo CD “Maracaípe” received a Latin Grammy nomination for the titled piece, which was dedicated to the Duo by renowned guitarist/composer Sergio Assad. Their second CD, “Bach to Tan Dun,” a "must-listen" according to composer Tan Dun, has been widely noted for the world-premiere recording of his “Eight Memories in Watercolor.” A recording in trio, “China West,” with Maestro Barrueco and the Beijing Guitar Duo was released in May 2014 to critical acclaim. Meng Su’s debut solo recording “Meng,” released in 2016 was called “awe-inspiring” and “this year’s finest debut by far” by Classical Guitar Magazine. Her latest duo CD “Claire de Lune” was released in 2023 featuring her own arrangements of French four-hand repertoire for two guitars.

Born in Qingdao, China, Meng Su began studying the guitar at the age of 5, and has won first-prize in numerous international competitions around the world, the last one being in the prestigious Parkening International Guitar competition in 2015. She graduated with an Artist Diploma, a Master’s Degree and Graduate Diploma in Chamber Music with Maestro Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University.

Meng Su teaches at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and she is the Artist-in-residence for the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society.

布吕出生于法国奥弗涅地区，在桑西山脉的文化熏陶中早早接触到手风琴及风笛等民间舞蹈音乐传统。在雅克·莫尔内国家音乐与手风琴学院接受了扎实的技术训练后，他于各类舞台上积累了丰富的演出经验。出于对古典音乐的深厚热情，他于2009年考入波尔多-新阿基坦高等艺术教育中心深造，并在专攻古典手风琴领域期间斩获多个国际奖项。

在深耕经典与改编曲目的同时，布吕亦是当代音乐创作的积极推动者。他与作曲家蒂博·佩里纳保持着紧密的合作关系，相继首演了其创作的《缪塞特组曲》（2017）与《手风琴家的随想曲》（2018）。2019年4月，他与本杰明·莱维执棒的戛纳管弦乐团合作，成功首演了佩里纳的最新手风琴协奏曲《舞会回忆》。2024年，布吕受邀在巴黎奥运会开幕式上献演，为塞纳河的巡游环节配乐，向全球观众展示了这件乐器的非凡魅力。

Félicien Brut is striving to harmonize the accordion’s marginal status in the classical music arena with its overriding popular character. Firmly believing that the instrument can act as an opening to classical music and a catalyst for a revival of contemporary creation, he has set off on a new musical tangent. Much as composers like Brahms, Bartók, and Dvo?ák frequently drew from traditional sources of music, Brut is reshaping the accordion's contemporary image and broadening its repertoire within the classical sphere.

Originally from the Auvergne region of France, Brut has shaken up the traditional reputation of the accordion. Growing up in the middle of the Massif du Sancy, he discovered the instrument at a young age, along with the popular musette music that has long characterized it. Following a solid education at the CNIMA Jacques Mornet, he spent several years entertaining at numerous traditional balls. In 2009, having in the meantime fallen deeply in love with classical music, he continued his studies at the P?le Supérieur de Bordeaux-Aquitaine.

Early on, Brut spotted the divide between musicians playing musette at balls on the one hand, and classical accordionists and teachers at the conservatoire on the other. Specializing in the classical field and with several international prizes to his name, he founded the Trio Astoria, an ensemble devoted to Astor Piazzolla's Nuevo Tango, and released his first album, Soledad del Escualo, in 2016. Driven by the ambition to form a program combining classical music with the musette repertoire so close to his heart, he launched the highly successful chamber music project Le Pari des Bretelles in August 2017. Joined by the Quatuor Hermès and double bass player édouard Macarez, Brut toured extensively and recorded the ensemble's debut album, which was released under the Mirare label in January 2019 during La Folle Journée in Nantes.

Continuing with this collaborative approach, Brut created a collective to achieve bold projects, flanked by renowned soloists including Renaud Guy-Rousseau (clarinet), Julien Martineau (mandolin), Romain Leleu (trumpet), and Thomas Leleu (tuba).

For Brut, each project is an opportunity to boost the emergence of contemporary creation, hence his strong working relationship with composer Thibault Perrine. Brut premiered Perrine’s Suite Musette for accordion and string quintet in 2017, and his Caprice d’Accordéoniste for accordion and orchestra in 2018. In April 2019, alongside the Orchestre de Cannes and its musical director Benjamin Lévy, he premiered Souvenirs de Bal, a concerto for accordion and orchestra. Expanding his reach to a truly global audience, Brut was later invited to perform at the Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, providing the musical soundtrack for the Seine River parade.

Parallel to his artistic career, Brut is a dedicated educator engaged in introducing his instrument to younger generations. Having gained a state-registered diploma and a degree in Musicology from the P?le Supérieur de Bordeaux-Aquitaine, he taught the accordion for many years at the CRC de Libourne and the CRD de Chateauroux, and continues to participate in masterclasses.

From popular music to erudite music, improvisation to written works, and original pieces to the most unexpected transcriptions, Félicien Brut continually upholds the diverse and multi-faceted nature of the accordion. He is undeniably carving a name for himself as a leading representative of his instrument in the new generation of classical musicians.
